What We Love
The Sonos Outdoor Speakers are passive speakers which require an amplifier. They work perfectly with the Sonos Amp which power these speakers to fill your outdoor space with the music you love.
When connected to the Amp, you’ll be able to group these speakers with any Sonos in the house, giving you true inside-to-outside functionality perfect for any party or outdoor BBQ. The Amp and speakers can even be connected to an outdoor projector for a great outdoor cinema set-up.

Weatherproof Design
Fully weather rated at IP66, the Sonos Outdoor speakers are designed for longevity and can be kept outside all year round.
Engineered to withstand humidity, water, salt spray, heat, UV rays and freezing temperatures, you won’t need to worry about taking down the speakers at the end of summer. This also makes them well suited to wet indoor rooms such as swimming pools, saunas or bathrooms.
The Sonos Outdoor Speakers are fully mountable, meaning you won’t need to install an additional wall mount. All speaker cable is hidden from view because of the clever, pivoting mount design. It can be mounted flush against a wall, under and eave, in a corner or pole mounted.
How To Power
The Sonos Amp is small but mighty, supplying an impressive 125w per channel to the connected speakers. This ensures you’ll benefit from the bassiest, crispest outdoor audio year round.
The wiring for Outdoor speakers is exactly the same as wiring for an indoor ceiling or in-wall speaker. You’ll require 1 length of 16 Gauge 2-Core speaker cable between each speaker and the Amp. If running cable lengths exposed to the elements, we’d suggest opting for an outdoor rated speaker cable. These speakers are also compatible with other amplifiers.
