Sonos Amp

The Sonos Amp provides the brains to your system and powers the Sonos Outdoor Speakers, offering an impressive 125W per channel. Perfectly impedance matched to the Sonos Outdoor speakers, you can connect up to 3 pairs on one Amp.

Hassle-Free Installation & Setup

The Sonos Outdoor Speakers are fully mountable, with a pivoting mount design which cleverly hides the speaker cables. It can be mounted flush against a wall, under an eave, in a corner or pole mounted. 

Installation is simple, only requiring you to run one length of 16 Gauge 2-Core speaker cable between each Sonos Outdoor Speaker and the Sonos Amp. If running any exposed cable lengths, please consider using an outdoor rated speaker cable to protect your system from water damage.

If powering Sonos In-Ceiling Speakers or In-Wall Speakers in the home but you don’t want to use a separate Amp in the garden, you might consider using a QED 2-Way Speaker Switch. This will enable you to turn off the outdoor speakers when not in use. 

How It Works With Sonos

When connected to the Sonos Amp, the Sonos Outdoor speakers will work with any other Sonos speakers around the home as part of your multi room system. This is great when hosting a garden party or BBQ, as you can group speakers to play the same music throughout the house and out into the garden.

You can pair the Amp and speakers to an outdoor projector or even play a turntable or other HiFi over your speakers if connected to the Amp’s line-in.
