A pair of 5.8mm neodymium full-range dynamic drivers power the Sony WF-C500 to give you a lively and accurate soundstage perfect for listening to music, radio, podcasts or other audio formats. The WF-C500s can also be used for voice calls thanks to their in-built microphone array. The sound signature can also be adjusted using the EQ settings in the Sony Headphones Connect App.

Sony employs a Digital Sound Enhancement Engine in the WF-C500s that can upscale audio to a closer to hi-res quality. This can be turned off on the earbuds if it’s not for you, but offers the option of higher quality streaming without needing to make any changes to your media library or streaming choices.

Built for on the go

Simple Control

When on the go, the Sony WF-C500s can be fully managed using control buttons on the earbuds themselves for functions such as play/pause, volume up/down, skip forwards/ backwards and accepting or rejecting calls.

The Sony WF-C500s also support single earbud use so if you’re in the office or out on a run and want to keep one ear to what’s happening around you, you’ll be able to put one earbud back in the charging case whilst still enjoying your tunes through the other one.

Bluetooth 5.0

Stable and Reliable Connection

Using Bluetooth 5.0 the Sony WF-C500 are compatible with SBC and AAC codecs. Bluetooth 5.0 promises a more stable connection with a longer 10m range, perfect for setting your phone down in the gym or away from your desk but staying connected throughout. 

Through this Bluetooth connectivity, it’s also possible to make use of your phone's native Google Assistant or Siri voice service for hands-free control of your music or audio. Voice assistant can be woken up by pushing control buttons on the earbuds themselves.
