These in-ceiling speakers have been purpose built for use with the Sonos system, perfectly impedance matching the amplifier to power up to 6 in-ceiling speakers on the same Sonos Amp.

This makes the powerful and crisp Sonos in-ceiling speakers perfect for use in any large open-plan living space where you’d like to power 6 speakers.

Even though the Sonos In-Ceiling Speakers are custom-built for use with the Sonos Amp, they’ll transition seamlessly to power by traditional Hi-fi Amplifiers as well.

What We Love

Trueplay tuning for iOS is a tried and true favourite of Sonos fans, and we love that this feature has been extended to their architectural range. Trueplay technology will allow you to tune the audio output of the Sonos in-ceiling speakers specifically to the room they’re in when connected to the Sonos Amp.

You’ll be able to access the full range of music services and radio as part of the Sonos App, alongside Sonos’ Airplay 2 integration. Any content you’re watching or listening to on your iOS device can be cast straight to your in-ceiling speakers.

Installation & Design

The Sonos In-Ceiling Speakers combine a discreet grille with the steam and moisture resistance you’d expect for speaker longevity. The grille is completely spray-paintable (with specific spray-paint), meaning you can match it with your room’s aesthetics.

A simple dog foot clamping mechanism will allow you to easily fit the speakers into the ceiling without the need for extra screws or fixings. This will securely hold your Sonos speaker in place for years to come.

How To Power

The Sonos Amp is small but mighty, supplying an impressive 125w per channel to the connected speakers. This will expertly handle your favourite action movies and bassiest tunes for the best listening experience when paired with the Sonos In-Ceiling Speakers.

Wiring is simple with just one length of 16 gauge 2-core speaker cable required to run between each speaker and your Amp. All connecting banana plugs are included with the Amp and Sonos In-Ceiling Speakers.

Compatible With Sonos Ecosystem

When connected to the Sonos Amp, the Sonos in-ceiling speakers will work with any other Sonos speakers around the home as part of your multi room system.

You can pair the Amp and speakers to a Sonos soundbar such as the Arc or Beam for use as rears in a Surround Sound set-up, group them with other speakers for music throughout the house and even play a turntable or other HiFi over your speakers if connected to the Amp’s line-in.
