KEF LS50 Wireless II Speakers
As What Hi-Fi?’s System Product of the Year for 2020, the KEF LS50 Wireless II. Culminating three years of intensive research and development, this new iteration of the award-winning KEF LS50 Wireless Speakers offers a complete and fully active audio system designed to bring crisp, high-resolution audio into your home.
Award-Winning Sound
KEF’s signature, pristine sound has been injected into the LS50 Wireless IIs; built on the new acoustic platform of the LS50 Meta passive loudspeakers. Each 5.25 in tweeter is driven by their own 100w A/B amplifier for smooth and detailed treble performance. Dedicated 280W class D amplifiers energise the mid/bass drivers, for room-filling, precise sound.
The LS50 Wireless IIs feature KEF’s 12th Generation Uni-Q Driver array with industry-first Metamaterial Absorption Technology. The beauty of Uni-Q, first rolled out in all KEF loudspeakers in 1988, is that all sound appears to emanate from the same point in space. The tweeter is aligned with the midrange/ bass driver making both acoustic centres the same point for a seamless blend between the response and dispersion of both units.
Support for streaming files up to 24bit/384kHz make this a great option for audiophiles looking to stream in Hi-Res. The LS50 Wireless IIs also support MQA, DSD256, and are Roon Ready (coming soon).
Wireless Connectivity
The new KEF Connect App is user-centred and will allow you to employ popular wireless controls such as Spotify Connect, Airplay 2, Google Chromecast along with popular streaming services such as Tidal, Amazon Music, Quobuz and Deezer. You’ll also be able to set up intuitive presets such as wake up alarms that play your chosen music or audio source.
Periodical over-the-air firmware updates mean your speaker performance and ease of use will get even better over time.
Easy Setup
You’ll need to first set up the speakers on your home Wi-Fi network. This will allow you to access a host of intuitive connection features and ensure your speakers will run all updates as they are released by KEF. The KEF Connect App will walk you through all setup instructions.
Two subwoofer outputs, one on the rear of each speaker, make an extended bass output easy to achieve to give your music and film even further impact.
Modern Design
The LS50 Wireless II will fit seamlessly into your space, combining both eye-catching design and modern minimalism to make these speakers the perfect audio solution for a contemporary space. A curved baffle is perfectly moulded around the Uni-Q driver array to give the LS50 Wireless II a more premium finish.
Available in Carbon Black, Titanium Grey, Mineral White and a special Crimson Red edition, the KEF LS50 Wireless II will complement any room - giving you the option to blend them in with their surroundings or to use them as a pop of colour for the space.

No, the KEF LS50 Wireless II are completely Active so just need to be connected to mains power.
Q. Can I connect a Hifi source to the speakers?
Yes, wired connection points are positioned on the back of the LS50 Wireless II, allowing you to connect a TV, turntable, CD Player or games console.
Q. How far apart can I position the LS50 Wireless II?
You’ll be able to place the speakers up to 8 metres apart if using wireless connection, or up to 10 metres using the supplied connection cable.
Q. What size space will the LS50 Wireless II fill?
KEF suggest these speakers should cover a room of between 10 - 100m²
