Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore Bluetooth Portable Speaker
Built with durability in mind, the Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore is the obvious choice to take out on your travels. A pair of 1.8” full-range drivers perfectly tuned for outdoor use are combined with both a 27 hour Battery Life and IP67 weather rating to form the perfect portable speaker.
Tailored Outdoor Audio
Powered by 30w Class-D Amplifiers, the Beosound Explore houses a pair of 1.8” full range drivers, expertly positioned to create 360 degree, omnidirectional sound that's perfect for use outdoors. B&O suggests that the Beosound Explore will comfortably fill a room of between 5-30 m².
5 specially designed EQ presets can be chosen from within the B&O app, with the EQ also fully customisable. True Wireless Stereo is an innovative inbuilt feature allowing you to stereo pair two Beosound Explores and separate the left and right sound stages for a warm and detailed performance.
Scratch Resistant, IP-Rated Finish
Developed in Factory 5, Denmark; Bang and Olufsen have employed an Anodised Aluminium speaker grille in the design of the Beosound Explores. This cylindrical grille will protect against picking up any dents or scratches, no matter how roughly the Explore is handled or how many adventures you take it on.
One of the most important considerations when designing a rugged, outdoor speaker is protection against the elements, and B&O haven’t let us down on this occasion. An IP67 weather rating offers full dust and waterproofing, with the Beosound Explore able to withstand submersion in water of up to 1 metre for 30 minutes.
Convenient Design
At 631g and around the same size as a can of cola, the Beosound Explore won't weigh you down and can be easily thrown into your backpack. Complete with a Carabiner carry clip, reminiscent of camping or rock climbing equipment, you’ll be able to easily secure the Beosound Explore to a bag, coat or even belt loop if the occasion arises. There’s also an integrated woven carry strap for your convenience.
Top-mounted controls are easy to operate even when wearing gloves and the ergonomic, cylindrical shape makes it easy to grab the Beosound Explore on the go. In your choice of Black Anthracite or a stylish forest green colour, the Beosound Explore is the perfect addition to your hike, bike, camp or anything in between.

The latest Bluetooth 5.2 is built into the Beosound Explores to offer an impressive connectivity range of over 30 metres, perfect for sitting around a campfire or laying on the beach without risking the crackle or pauses of poor connection.
The Beosound Explore features both Microsoft Swift Pair and Google Fast Pair to facilitate easier connection to a computer. You’ll also benefit from Made for iPhone | iPad integration.
Long Battery Life
Whether camping, exploring or just looking for a great audio solution for your garden, the B&O Beosound Explore won’t leave you hanging with its impressive 27 Hour Battery Life. Fully charging the speakers should take no more than 2 hours and a handy LED Battery Life Indicator will help you keep tabs on how long you have before needing to recharge.
You’ll be able to easily recharge your Beosound Explore using the supplied USB-C charging cable.
