Incorporating a 6 1/2 inch MMP II bass driver and Monitor Audio’s signature Gold Dome Tweeter, the C165 offers genuine hi-fi sound quality. 

The C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminium Magnesium) gold treble unit gives an extended frequency response for a treble response that's smooth, sweet and detailed.

A high-frequency adjustment control enables you to tune the treble response to suit the surrounding environment.

For the most accurate sound, your listening position ideally needs to be in-line with the high-frequency response (treble). Without this, some of the audio's precision is lost.

Thanks to the C165's pivotable tweeter, you can simply direct the tweeter towards your most habitable position in the room and enjoy wide frequency response and dispersion of your audio.

The C165 offers quick and easy installation with an innovative Tri-Grip fixing system. This makes them easier to install than conventional clamping schemes but provides three times the surface area and a better surface seal which maximises bass response and mid-range clarity. 

2 core speaker cable is required for each speaker.

How To Power

The C165 requires an amplifier and is ideally suited to amplifiers with a power range between 20-65 watts. With an impedance rating of 6-ohms, the C165 is capable of reproducing a frequency range of 60Hz - 25KHz, impressive for this price bracket.

Discreet Design

Designed to offer a discrete listening experience, the C165 blend seamlessly into your ceiling with a slim, magnetic grille which can be painted to suit your decor. A paint mask and additional scrim material are provided for trouble free painting. 

The C165 is also splash and humidity proof so they can be installed safely in a shower room or pool area.
