Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
Nintendo and Pokémon fans alike will be excited to see the beloved Diamond and Pearl series reimagined for the Nintendo Switch. Updated graphics, new gameplay options and reworked settings make this the game you know and love, just better. One of our favourite parts of the game is version exclusive Pokémon that you can only collect if you trade with a player using the opposite version (Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl) to you.
Much like the original Diamond and Pearl games for DS, the main difference between the two is the exclusive Pokémon that you get to play with on each. These new adaptations are similar in other respects as well, staying true to the original Sinnoh adventures whilst adding easy to understand, player-friendly conveniences of the modern Pokémon series.

What we're looking forward to in December
Halo Infinite - 8th December
With SHS Gaming news, one of the biggest games to be released this month is surely Halo Infinite, marking the 6th main instalment from the franchise. Undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated games of 2021, Halo Infinite’s campaign is sure to provide thrills, threats and excitement as you traverse Zeta Halo, one of the oldest and most mysterious Halo rings in the galaxy.
Available on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC we’re excited to see what this new iteration has to offer.
Among Us - 8th December
Again on the 8th of December, we’re due to see a reimagining of the viral online multiplayer sensation that took the Covid-19 world by storm. Among Us began life as a downloadable mobile app and saw players compete against each other to work out who was ‘sus’ - that is the designated Imposter whose job is to kill their fellow Crewmates without being caught.
Coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, this new edition of Among Us stays true to its roots whilst adding some exciting new features, such as a new hide and seek mode and Ratchet and Clank skins exclusive to Playstation consoles.
Please note, the downloadable version will be available from December 8th, with physical editions due to be released at staggered times.
PlayStation Phone Controller in the pipeline
Those who like to game on the go might be interested to hear that Playstation could be developing a new two-piece handset designed to work with your mobile phone. Copying the user-friendly design of the DualSense Wireless Controllers, this newly patented idea not only has the normal button and joystick controls we’d expect but also seems to have a movement sensor offering the possibility of motion controls.
We’d love to see a Playstation-built phone attachment for portable gaming, but it’s just a case of watching and waiting to see whether this exciting product comes to fruition.
